Worst sporting app
This is the worst app. Rarely works, I have a new current phone, takes day to update , even when admins post important updates. Disappointing

Not showing right teams
This app has been pretty good for a while but for some reason for every basketball team (mine my sisters and stepbrothers) is just showing the same people from who knows where and it’s very annoying
Please fix this by next Friday bc I want to see where i placed in league for scoring before I go on holiday and miss 3 games
I have tried everything to fix it and nothing is working

Atrocious!
This app is atrocious. I’ve tried to re-register my team for a comp we’ve been in for years and it’s not working, and I haven’t done anything different. Navigating through this app is poor, I’m disappointed the comp I’m in is using this app. Needs a massive upgrade. Maybe the need to pay attention to the reviews.

Get not delete notifications
There is literally no way to remove the notifications on this app. Even when you go into each message. So there is constantly a number sitting on the app to say you haven’t read something. Please fix it to have a clear all, or something.

It is a really good game if you play basketball but I get it if you don’t play basketball. Ladder View is terrible
This app was imposed on us by the basketball league and pales into comparison with the previous one. No calendar sync and viewing the ladder is terrible. Very inefficient use of screen real estate.

Solid app - delivers stats right after the game
A reliable app that shows your stats live. It does mostly everything I want it to. Sure its menu can be a bit convoluted but it’s nothing that someone can’t figure out. I’ll take off one star for that, but that’s being conservative. I’d want to give it 4.5
I like that it also shows you top performing stats in your league (e.g. top scorers of the league, top 3 pointers made etc).
I don’t think I’ve seen the app down even once, and I’ve been using it for 2 years now.

Minor changes
This app is not as bad as the other responses say it is. It works well, gives you the exact time your match is starting, and it says your team’s full name, age group, and Div. This was the first Gameday app I have ever downloaded, and it’s a good first impression. Some minor tweaks and bug fixes are required, but otherwise it9s good.

Have been trying to create a new account with new email & phone address but it keeps merging with an old account with an email & phone number I am unable to access. This issue has been going on for a year now, the season is nearly over. So not worth the hassle.

Notifications don’t work
In addition to the usability issues pointed out by everybody else. Notifications of team messages do not work. So we miss important updates from our team manager unless we constantly keep logging in. Very frustrating

Worst app
This app is so bad. As a parent trying to add a minor, there is zero guidance, or instruction. I’ve registered with the app but have zero ability to add a family member- that option has completely disappeared. So now I have a useless app taking up space on my phone, which I can’t use and now can’t keep up with my son’s game schedule. Fix your app, it’s awful and not user friendly in the slightest.

Most challenging app I’ve ever downloaded
Not one thing is easy on this app, logging in? Extremely difficult, trying to see your own stats? Impossible. I logged in COMPLETELY, added my league and this stupid app wants to say I didn’t play in the game and therefore couldn’t see the stats. Can’t think of one thing I’d ever use this app for. It’s horrible, useless and completely useless in every sense of the word.

As other users have pointed out, a flawed core design fails to provide a quality or even meaningful end user experience. The basic child-parent relationship has not been thought through, and thus basketball associations have great difficulty providing any helpful support on basic tasks like paying your child’s state rego fees. Parents are constantly frustrated, with the interface unintuitive and difficult to navigate. Additionally, historically simple tasks like tracking basic historical stats is now impossible. From an end-user who plays basketball, this feels like a last second Hail Mary that breaks the backboard on the adjacent court.

Good for points and teams
As a player for the hawks, I find it very useful as I know who is the top scorer and it also helps me know what division I had made. It also it helps me with all of my stats and I could see what I have to I prove on. So as a player I rate this app an amazing 5 stars.

Worst Usability
Quite possibly the most stupidly designed app for a sporting use I’ve ever seen, doesn’t allow you to see ladders or draws properly especially when on multiple teams at the same time. Ridiculous amount of bugs.

So disappointed that basketball Qld is continuing with this app. It constantly glitches, is not user friendly and is beyond frustrating to use. Hoped after a couple of years of use they would have fixed all its problems but it seems to be getting worse.

This is a good app. Does what it needs to. The only thing I miss (we swapped over from Gameday) is the calendar integration for iPhones. Please consider adding this in future upgrades.

Garbage app - can’t even show fouls in game
This app is absolute garbage and I’m amazed that organisations are forcing people to use this atrocity. The game scoring sheet app that is linked as part of their “system” can’t even tell you how many personal fouls someone is on. The interface looks like it was designed by a 10 year old. Stay as far away as you can and if your organisation or association is looking at using Basketball Connect, do everything you can to talk them out of it.

Ladder Is Horrible (For Starters)
How long does it take to make it so that when you press on a team name it takes you to the team roster and stats. It just does nothing so you need to exit the view, hunt down the team you want to look at and then do the whole process back and forth. No views link to each other, you basically need to head back to the main menu and start drilling down again from there.
Don’t just read the reviews, get a developer to spend literally one day getting that functionality working.

Utterly Useless App – Can’t Even Log In!
If you’re looking for an app that consistently fails at the most basic functions, Basketball Connect is the one for you. The login process is a nightmare. I tried multiple times, and every single attempt ended in frustration. When I realized I’d forgotten my password, I thought, “No problem, I’ll just reset it.” But even that doesn’t work!
The password reset feature is broken beyond belief – it either doesn’t send a reset email or sends you on a loop back to the login screen without actually resetting anything. After days of trying, I still can’t access the app. What’s the point of an app if you can’t even log in?
Basketball Connect is a complete waste of time. The developers need to fix the basics before promoting this app as useful. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere – this app is the epitome of uselessness.

Not a fan of the app but the final straw was the extra 3% technology / transaction electronic payment fee added into every bill. Of course all the basketball association only allow you to pay electronically .

Worst App ever
This is the app with the most bugs and issues across user interface and all around operation I’ve ever dealt with. It’s frustrating and useless in pretty Much every department. I can’t even view draws week-to-week without logging out and back in again. Whoever decided that Basketball Queensland had to use this piece of garbage should have to pay all the over the top service charges players get stung with.
