Very Buggy. Bad Bad Bad

Unnecessarily complicated just to sign up. Multiple verification emails that don’t go back to the app but rather a web browser that then says the session has timed out. Just completely unnecessary in this day and age… get it together!!You’re a multi billion profit dollar company who price gouges customers- surely you can afford to get some decent App developers in to do a decent App for a very expensive prepaid service

Will not activate or download properly plenty of space

Will not activate or down load properly plenty of space.Have had my $200 sim for a month Coles said down load app but it wont download properly and cant activate by phone seems like a money grab and scam to me who's blocking it the carrier?

Great customer service!

My iphone (4G) suddenly couldn’t make or receive any calls.

Customer service was really lovely and caring eventually tech support reset my network.

Then I was able to get messages to say who had called but still no calls came through and still not able to make calls. This was an improvement but the problem was still not completely fixed.

Called customer service back and they again referred the issue back to tech support. I am pleased to say that the following morning my phone was all back to normal in less than24 hours.

Thank you Cole’s customer service and tech support. Great customer service!

I entered my credentials and then app asked me to update the app. When I open AppStore my app has already latest version. Still keep asking me to update.

App doesn’t work. Cannot see what useage I have. Screen just has a message at the top of it saying YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY ACTIVE SERVICES… which clearly isn’t true as I have paid for a year and am currently using the phone now. No other menus to press so cannot do anything about this screen I’m left with.

I do not want to resubscribe to another year but have no option to change this.I do not recommend this app at all 👎🏼👎🏼

READ THIS ONE NOT ONE STAR. Ok first of all the app ain’t bad it works just fine I don’t know what people are talking about but when I did rollover for data it logged me out so I had to log into another device to get back into the one on now and I was using the right details but it does the job fine it’s cheap and works fine. Good job

Great app

Only had the Coles app for a year but no problems so far. Good price and very happy. You are able to check your balance fast. Todays shutdown was unfortunate but Coles can’t be blamed for that.

Very bad data network.

I tried to solve with coles service team but they don’t reply properly to solve it and I share also screenshots of problem occurs in my device but they didn’t reply. I complained 3-4 time but they told me every time the network will be in maintanance so how we use properly. I know there is 4G but it works like 2G.

Been trapped with them, not the app.

I do regret that I use coles mobile now.

1, I tried so many times to transfer my number out to another provider, FAIL every time!

2, with system issues, it charges my twice for prepaid card!

I don’t know what to say, who to say. It’s just horrible experience with them.

Service line always tell you the same answer, your number is working, there is nothing wrong with it. Didn’t receive the porting order…..

The guys at Coles don’t know anything about coles mobile.

One said you can return the SIM card if you can’t use it, or not open.

The other said all the cards are not returnable .

Sorry have to put this.

But horrible customer service.

Buggy

The Coles Mobile app has a serious basic flaw - it keeps asking me to "update" my app to the latest version, and force directs me to the App Store. The problem is, it's already is on the latest version. Hence, I've reverted to checking my data allowances on the web interface instead. Unfortunately, this big is persistent for more than a year, which makes me seriously consider switching to another service.

Doesn’t do what it’s touted to do

This app is supposed to make using Coles Mobile easy. It doesn’t. First I tried activating the sim. Nope. I ended up doing this through the website. I’m now trying to tether the sim to the app in my user profile. Again nope. No function to allow this.

I’ve transferred from Optus. Their app was brilliant. Could access usage, bills, offers etc. I find this app literally useless, since I can’t use/access it. Sorry but more work needed.

Can’t change the ownerships

Coles doesn’t allow you to transfer the ownership of you Mobile Number to other family member. The only option is to port this other service provider and change the ownership and once this is done your current active scheme will be discontinued and there won’t be any refund.

Sent me in to an inescapable maintenance screen loop

What an annoying experience. Got part way through process of switching on facial recognition and I got a maintenance screen from which I could not exit. If I tried to go back a screen to exit the app it would flash up the prior screen and then immediately go back to maintenance, where there was no X or other way to tap and exit. Only way out was to swipe it shut. Before the maintenance screen loop commenced, I had made multiple attempts to get the verification link by text and by email. Neither arrived until HOURS later, by which time I’d given up and deleted the app. I am about to try once more.

Can’t even log in…

App seems to have the paste function disabled at the login screen. I use a password manager so it’s not practical to type out all the characters on a phone for a complex auto-generated password, don’t know why this feature would be disabled.

Due to patchy internet connection on Coles’ mobile network, the app straight up wouldn’t log me in, which was understandable, BUT after several attempts to access my account, the app simply crashed whenever I tried to open it. After mobile connection had been restored back to normal, the app still refused to load and simply crashed. I had to delete and reinstall the app to make it work again. Lame.
