Ever since the app was upgraded done time ago, the app has been unreliable. I keep reporting problems and new ones keep appearing. Latest was money taken but order doesn’t complete or get sent to store. The only fix has been to delete and reinstall. Had to do it twice this year so far. The old app was fine and didn’t need replacing.

Name one Australian

Membership App that doesn’t reward customers for their loyalty? Very UnAustralia. Though some are just for ordering like KFC, they don’t claim to be “Besties” and have some genuine offers to their loyal App users.

No reward for Besties or loyalty “Betty’s Beach Club” does nothing, nor can you earn reward points like “Betty’s Credit” on purchases? Really no point except Betty’s Beach Bums can understand your purchase behavior and give you nothing in return. Not 0.001% back for your information and App so called offers save $1.50 on a 3 meal combo purchase.

Even McCers give back well over 10% in rewards, and Grill’d give you a burger after 7 purchases and a drink after 5 and do loads of good in the community.

Betty’s marketing Bums tried to copy loyalty and membership rewards #Failed. Shows if you keep copying ideas like “In and Out” and other peoples Apps, cheaters never prosper.

If this is how you treat your Besties, my real BFFs will go to a Club that is more genuine and knows that loyalty is a two way friendship.

I tried submitting an order through the app but wasn’t able to progress past the Checkout screen even after entering my payment details, possibly because the Pay button was off the bottom on the screen and there is no scrolling on the Checkout screen. I then ordered in store and the bill came to $20 instead of $19.50 as per the deal in the app but the lady who served me wasn’t able to correct the price.

I have a gift card that I cannot redeem because I cannot log into this horrible app. I kept getting errors trying to create an account through the app, so I gave up on the app and went to the website to create an account. The website worked, but I still couldn’t use these details to log into the app. The best part is that I can’t redeem my gift card without using the app. Awful experience.

Doesn’t flag the restaurant location near your order, ended up ordering a meal in another state. If you make an order there is no contact details to the restaurants or a way to cancel through the app.

We had to wait for the email to contact the restaurant. Couldn’t cancel, couldn’t refund. Had to just order again, and yes, pay again.

Other apps do the same, and more responsive.

Works great every time, no issues with Apple Pay or ordering.

One star off for:

1. Button colour in light blue is so hard to see that you never know if the button is active or not

2. After ordering, If you click the initial confirmation screen away, there is no status update or ability to see when the order is ready. It even says order complete in the history, when I have literally just ordered.

Other than that, it works great. And yes, the food is good too ;-).

When my mum was a kid, my grandparents had a holiday apartment in Noosa, Queensland. “Betty’s burgers” was a little kiosk. She tells me how her and her brothers and sister would go and get burgers each day - and my uncle had something like 10 burgers one time! Back then (this would’ve been in the 70’s I believe) the burgers were about $1 each. Anyway, my parents took my brothers and I to Noosa for the first time in 2018, and we discovered Betty’s Burgers still exists, but as a restaurant/franchise! The burgers are awesome, delicious and the service is always amazing! I’m so excited that there are Betty’s burgers in other places too, including in the CBD in Melbourne, at Flen Waverley and Chadstone! Now I want to try them all! I love Betty’s burgers!

Made an order on this app with one of the deals for 2 burgers and 1 fries. The docket that printed for staff only showed 2 burgers. Even when I presented the receipt in the app and said your docket it wrong they said no it’s how it always looks and made it out like I was being a lying. Never had issues ordering in store though so this app seems like a waste of time.
