Only so-so
Failed to track accurately more often than not. Some days it was a complete failure, others only partially right, and on a few days only was it totally correct.
Adding in the availability each day of the 7:30 First Tracks at Heavenly would be a really useful addition to the lift status page too.

Cracking app!
Not sure who these peanuts are reviewing this app anything less than awesome. For a free app, supplied by the mountain, i have never seen anything like this provided and it’s a cracker. Being able to track your friends and your stats is unbelievable, and from what I have seen its pretty damn accurate. Great work Hotham. Cheers

What have they done?
Hotham must be paying bots for positive reviews. Surely no one in their right mind would find this new app usable. The old app was perfect - all the information right there.
Their next update will probably just be a browser that loads the Hotham website!

App amazing
I love how it’s really easy to find things and I love seeing the road feature where it says if the road is closed and it gives you great updates. It’s all reallly organised to like I can find things really really easy and I don’t have to flick through a lot like the Buller app and the falls creek. I really recommend this app to everyone!!!

Bring Back Road Conditions
Love the new road alert feature but bring back information on the road conditions please. It’s annoying that I need to go to the Hotham website or Facebook page to determine if chains are being fitted and to what type of vehicle. It would also be really useful to know at which chain bay chains are being fitted, if cars are being convoyed, and expected drive time from Harrietville to Hotham Village. I understand this can change but this information can assist when planning the drive up to the resort.

The rest of the app isn’t noticeable better or worse than the old app. But the most annoying part is STILL NO ROAD CONDITIONS?! Why not? What a waste of your and users time not to include this in a revamp!

Fun
The app os great. If you do different trails you can track your friends until you meet up.
Disappointed that it didn’t track my night skiing at the Bog D yesterday. Did 10 runs including the last one backwards.
I think it logs off automatically after the 4:30 normal close.

Replaced at app with a horrible one
New app has taken 4 steps backwards. Hardly any info, not iPad friendly. Very disappointing.

Needs to work across devices
I love the tracking functionality, but would be good to be able to see my stats across devices; I use an iPhone and an iPad.
Also the app needs road conditions alerts, and maybe a “ help!” button that you could use if you have a prang. Good start tho!

Hotham’s new app
I love the app, the stat tracking the lead board and the general layout is really nice, I find it to be a clean finish and quite useful but the road conditions sure are missed and were really good and shouldn’t have been removed.
Also the leader board is kinda scuffed because someone had 4 chair lifts with 4,700 vertical meters which is impossible and unfair for the people actually trying to do it legitimately but that’s just a small thing.

Can only view content length ways. Not full screen. No maps. Ugh!

No road conditions
Inferior to the old app in many ways. No road conditions. Snow report redirects to a web browser. Trail map is clearly out of date, eg. doesn’t show the new areas covered by snow guns in Heavenly. I hope this is v0.9 and v1.0 will be released soon with these issues resolved and other improvements.

Have to agree with other comments. The most useful information like road status is now hidden..... somewhere.....
The best part was the honest, informative and smart reports from Bill, now your best asset has been relegated to the website, put it back in the app!

Pretty app
Nice art. Where chains info. If I wanted to go to the website I would use a browser ... that's why apps were invented so you didn't have to use a browser. Why change it if it aint broke. The old app had commonality with falls and Buller.. use one use 'em all with all the real important info within one click. Can you please get the road, weather, chains etc back on the app and either on the landing page or in one click? It's like you were bored cause there was no snow.. got halfway through what looks like will be a good app.. then it snowed and you pressed go live as you ran out the door

Needs road conditions like the old app. This is the most important piece of information for anyone travelling up or down the mountain. What’s worse is the old app no longer works, so where do we access this information now?

Prettier than old app, not as useful
Not a fan of now being directed to website for the daily report, which is excellent btw. Also have lost the road conditions status (regarding chains and open/closed).
Didn’t really need the tracking thing as everyone uses SnowZat anyway.
