We’re still new to this tech scene but the positive feedback has been overwhelming. We appreciate your patience while we continue to smooth out kinks, but it’s nothing convenience and a sweet deal can’t make up for.

The recent $10 promo is a PAIN in the neck. Roll’d app doesn’t recognise the promo code and apparently you engaged a different developer to build your orderup website, which forces existing customers to re-sign up again to utilise the promo code campaign. A typical start up company who needs to hire more capable leaders.

Can’t use because the app says my store is closed (Monash) when it is actually open

Used the app to cut the queue but wasn’t aware that the online order automatically goes through as takeaway. Had to unpack my food from 50 layers or packaging and the server forgot my drink as well.

Today I bought a Banh Mi from the store in the Canberra Centre. I was expecting that I had to ask for extra coriander but I did not expect my roll to be a soggy hot dog roll that sagged as I tried to eat it. What ever happened to the fresh Vietnamese baguettes - I swear I will never eat at this chain ever ever again

A chance to review final order and more time to cancel would be good.
The payment screen processes so quick you don’t have time to cancel your order.
I accidentally processed the wrong time on my order and wasted the food.
Plus the option to message the store about your order would be a good feature- as above I had no way of communicating with the store re my order and there are no phone numbers to advise.

Once you sign up for an account it seems to be impossible to delete the account or remove your credit card details.
As a consumer I should be able to manage what personal data of mine you are storing and I’m very unhappy that this is not possible.

App with Groupon is a disaster

Usually to buy a Groupon, one simply buys it, shows the voucher and can get it done. However, this rolld app makes no sense.
1. You must download the app
2. You must sign up to an account
3. You can’t copy paste the Groupon code directly but must type it in - 10 letters or numbers
4. The code has zeroes and o (0 or O) which makes typing correctly more difficult
5. If you bought more than two you must repeat step 3.
The entire process was very frustrating and shows a lack of understanding the customer experience. The staff at northland were patient and helpful but the app needs rethinking.

My credit card was entered in the app and the next thing was transactions being made without my approval up to $90. I have no idea why this happen but I am very sure this app is the cause. Be very careful!

If you want to not be able to remove items you added to your cart, roll them into a meal or contact Roll’s to complain, or cancel the order (even though there’s a button to give you the option), then you’ll love this app 🤦🏼‍♀️

Won’t willingly use it again.

Made an order so I could quickly pick it up during my short lunch break. Arrive at the store and staff couldn’t even see my order. Open to app to find the order has been rejected by the system.
Retried to order it and then staff could see I’ve ordered something and charged my card. But they could not see the contents of the order and I had to show them my app and they wrote down my order on a piece of paper. Wasted 20minutes of my 30 min break. Do not download this app. Utterly useless.

I can’t use this anymore. I need to be able to order a ceramic bowl which I can do at the counter. I won’t buy from a place with recycled black plastic since black plastics won’t actually get recycled. Get a ReturnR type system going. Enough of the plastics already.

The app is good for ordering but I don’t see the benefits over ordering at the counter. And after numerous attempts by Roll’d’s IT Team, they still can’t get the loyalty points to tally after each purchase. Will order at the counter from now on.

Ordered on App with meal, gave option of selecting 2 sides. Selects 2 sides only to be asked at counter to change side to drink. Not my fault your app doesn’t work properly and allows me to select 2 sides. I expect to be given what I ordered. I also waited forever to get my meal and people at counter were getting their meals before me despite me ordering 15 min before them. No discounts either for first time app user. Very disappointed. Will be going to competitor store Saigon here in Ballarat in future.

Checked my account and had been charged twice... the girl at the check out told me to check with my bank when it is clearly an issue with the app. Will be deleting, don’t download.

App itself was great to by pass the busy lunch rush, skip the wait and have my order waiting.
Unfortunately only half of the order was fulfilled requiring a return trip to the store to sort it out. Not sure if this was a fault of the app feeding through to the store or an oversight by in store staff.
Would be good to have the ability to add a comment to the order regarding collection (eg order/payment made by me but collected by hubby)
Oh and I am still waiting for my 50% discount for trialling the app.
Otherwise overall a great app.

I had to download this app for a Groupon deal. It’s a really poorly designed app. Not user friendly at all, makes it really hard to do what you want to do. It’s really frustrating. I clicked the “view cart” button and it finalized the order without letting me put the code in. “View cart” should let you view the cart, not automatically check out. Oh, and nice work using a whole 1/4 of the screen to let me scroll through your menu, with only one item visible at a time.

Tried ordering through the app but was pending for a few minutes, asked the girl in store but nothing came through. After 5 min it said payment failed so I tried another card, same process and after waiting again the order was rejected again. I was also trying to redeem a Groupon voucher which can only be redeemed through the app so now that’s gone to waste. Wasted $5 and 30 mins of my lunch break trying to get it to work - went some where else instead.

This is a useful app to get my meal quicker but it would be good to have an option of dine in or takeaway so we can avoid the use of throwaway plastic containers when customers are going to eat in.

Used the order ahead functionality to place an order for an hour later- they received and then instantly made my order regardless so it sat there cold for 45min. Staff were confused when I asked about it- and it wasn’t even the spiciness that I ordered. Wouldn’t use again

I love using this app to skip the queue and be able to go straight to the counter.
However my closest store on southern cross lane is not available to order from.
You also cannot remove just one item, or edit it and need to clear the whole basket if say you forgot to add a sauce.

When I was at Roll’d, the App told me that I was right there (0km). In stead of waiting, I Placed order and made my payment for my lunch. This app will take your money but depending on the branch, your order will be rejected or not accepted in-store. Manager will then say, “Don’t worry, it’s pending and will clear out”. The problem is the payment will not clear as you get an invoice and they won’t give you your order as well. That means you will lose money.
Filed a dispute with the bank now.

1st time and 2nd time of my order: payment was ok, but it took too long for the kitchen to receive my order, pretty disheartening and wasted my time waiting. I just thought it should be something easy for customers who needs to rush. But it isn’t.
Today, my card has enough money to pay my order but it just failed twice. Definitely not card details issue, as I have used them before today. Most ridiculous part is it wasn’t an instant reject, it took like good 5 mins to get back. Waiter came to ask whether it’s been rejected but it wasn’t at the point he asked.
So, this app really needs a pretty fast fix and update to keep users happy?

I was quite excited to use the 50% off first order when I saw it at my new local Roll’d.
Registered an account, and proceeded to ordering.
Order become pending status and no other message. Asked the store, they said sorry but they haven’t received the order.
5min later, showed the payment rejected/failed. So I thought I must’ve typed the card number wrong, and deleted the payment details then fee re-entered it. Same result...
Tried for the 3rd time, still the same.
I really like the food at Roll’d and the app would make it convenient, if only it works properly.

You should allow users to search for there store but typing in their location and/or postcode rather than having to find it on the map.
Also there should be a section in the app that has links to: Help, About us, FAQ ect...
