CoinGecko got me organised
I had multiple coins on different exchanges and cold storage wallet. I didnt know what my breakeven was on each coin or even total $ invested. I started using the CG portfolio manager and I now have all those answers at the click of a button. You can’t invest in crypto without it. It’s a must have!!

Profit loss %
You guys updated the calculation but it's not correct. It doesn't make sense to use the total cost value as is if a person keeps buying and selling fractions. Example. You buy a coin for $1. The coin doubles in valu and you sell half. It should say you have 100% in profit

Great app but can’t see value of all portfolios
I have more than 10 portfolios of wallets and exchanges. One of the most important features is being able to check your total portfolio value. Only being able to check separate portfolio values is kinda useless. There is a total portfolio value on windows but strangely on the iPad app there is not. Please add this feature! Thank you!

Overall Ok for free but business policies unacceptable
I purchased premium service last year but not worth the money. I missed canceling the renewal by a day and they have refused to refund my money after many requests. You know when companies do that, they are Mickey Mouse operations
For sure use the free service and get your updates but all the glossy benefits of premium are not worth it.

It’s good! Lovely interface and not cluttered with extraneous detail unlike some apps. Just gives you the bits you need and in a great UX. Sometimes the site goes down but it’s happening less frequently. Would prefer to have the option of a Passcode lock when the app opens - one to add to the features list?

Everything I need in an app
The app is amazing and accurate, it is really good how you can pick two currencies so I can look at charts in my currency (AUD) and switch to USD if I want to. The new portfolio feature is very very useful since I have crypto on different exchanges and in a hardware wallet which is annoying to log into constantly, it is very easy to just scan the market and see how I’m going. It’s also very useful if you are not used to trading and want to practise as you can just make up a portfolio with a budget and see how you go. The app also has very few adds and hasn’t used scam addresses for coins unlike other websites and apps.

Great price data app for crypto
Really good app, easy to look through and shows a lot of good data necessary for making your next purchase in the crypto space. Some issues with loading coin data from time to time but not really a problem. I tend to use this one more then the coinmarket cap app as I find it’s quicker in general use when I’m quickly searching for alt coins.

Coin Gecko - beginners to experts and inbetweeen
Not long have downloaded the CoinGecko through but also find it quite easy to not only navigate and source the delicate bits of information required
Only negative thing I have to say is…
When a tokens contract address has been updated to a new one it is only shows a small disclaimer near the top of the screen (top of the chart upon opening). That and also that you aren unable to click on said address to be forwarded to it…
Would help a tonne with providing solid proof that the investment you are researching is valid and scammless.

Great Cryto Tool
I’ve used CoinGecko now for a number of months and it’s a great tool for looking at cryto and how it’s tracking. It’s been great to get a snap shot of the various currencies although updates on the various currencies and any developments would be ideal. Worth having in this space.

Widget is broken!
Widget Keeps showing btc price at 35k even if it’s been a long time at 32k its not just once, everytime i have to press and open the app to see the actual price, even after which the price on the widget still doesn’t update… please fix this. Other wise a useful app, hope to see more development, i would say the app us looks a bit outdated but not a bad app in anyway. :)

Snapshot of Portfolio performance would be nice to have
I’m disappointed that the app doesn’t seem to allow you to get a clear picture of how each of your coins are doing with regards to whether you are in profit or not. Eg. Like in Commsec with shares. It tracks how far up or down you are in $ and %. I have entered all of my ‘buy’ details, but it takes a bit of mucking around to cheek where each coin is at for me

Checking this app pretty much every 5 minutes. I’ll wake up at 3am and open this bad boy up straight away, dark mode is a blessing. Layout is great and it is easy to use can’t be bothered with any of the other portfolio apps.

Great app, occasional bugs
Not as robust as CoinMarketCap, but prices are averaged from more exchanges. Great to have all of the info available on mobile.
If there was one improvement I would request, it would be the portfolio tracker. It’s handy but CoinMarketCap’s features are nicer for overview.

The screens on Coin Gecko are visually designed really well, the charts are crisp in colour and not too cluttered or over complicated, and they have practical, useful functions, I also find the news bulletins immensely helpful.

Great app for your crypto needs!
I love the CoinGecko app, it’s very user friendly with a great overall layout. Searching for coins/tokens is simple and with a click of a button you can find all the information you need regarding the coin/token. The second cool thing is being able to add your current coins/tokens to the portfolio section where the app will keep track of fiat gains and daily fluctuations. The third thing I enjoy are the “candies” you receive as an award for using the app daily, with the candies you can claim rewards such as crypto shirts and other crypto related products! Great monitoring app
Instead of going to all the different exchanges I use to check my crypto worth, I use Gecko to monitor my balances. It’s up to date with pricing, easy to use and I have yet to find a coin or token that isn’t on here.

Love the percentage down for week/days etc - you can easily say now is a good time to buy based on this info. If anyone has not read their yearly report (I got mine shares through a group) so I’m hoping it’s free... but it is so well written and insightful!
