Downloaded the game quite enjoy it purchased some golf balls used about one of them and then when I went to play again all the balls I purchased had vanished went on to the chat no response emailed and the same no response would not recommend this game at all

This game was so much fun until I played against a big spender. Killer my who vibe for the game. And have since deleted. You want to at least have a chance to win. But against the play I was against no chance they hit an albatross on a par 5. What a joke. Don’t download unless you intend on spending big bucks. Cause you get wiped off the course every time.

This game has the same monotonous play continually. Putting requires no skill as does most of the other gameplay. Always plays the same course over and over continually Does not take very long to be utterly bored. Would not waste any money on this game.

Money trap game - so sad
I played GR during the Covid years and it was fun and being rewarded and progressing was achievable. Also, you could join diff fb groups that held comps with with prizes supported by the developer. Now it’s verging on pay to play and hooks you in using the gambling psychological techniques. It’s just wrong. They didn’t have to go that way. Be warned!

The game starts of okay. But then you start to play against people that are on a much higher level then you which takes the fun out of the game, knowing you can’t even get close to winning. When you ask the support’ people for help. They just ignore you. I wouldn’t bother with this game. All round frustrating.

Golf clash is 100 times better
Stop now, go to Golf Clash and try that first before even considering this game. This game is an absolute copy of Golf Clash but the gameplay is worse. In Golf Clash every club has the ability to have top spin, back spin, slice curve or hook curve. In Golf Rival only certain clubs have this ability. When you tie a hole in both games you have a shootout where the ball that lands closest to the hole wins. In Golf Clash it is always on a par 3 so you are regularly seeing the winner finish close to the hole. In this game most shootouts are won by hitting the ball down a fairway - as most shootout holes are not par 3s or there is a massive obstacle (such as a bridge or tree) in the way - so the winner is often 80 yards plus away from the hole!! The graphics in this game are poor quality compared to Golf Clash - the trees, grass, rocks, buildings- have poor detail. The way the ball rolls on the green is not even close to the real thing in this game, whereas Golf Clash is much more realistic.
I downloaded this game because I liked the look of the multiplayer game where you hit off buildings into a bowl shaped bullseye green, but this is only available if you play against your own friends online.
Honestly I don’t know how this game survives given how it’s a blatant rip off. Either way don’t download until you’ve tried Golf Clash

Awesome game but….
Be prepared for a long hard slog to play with the beast. Unless your prepared to spend a lot of money. Make sure you take your time and learn how to play. Be prepared for lots of glitches and variations when making shots. The app developers don’t care about your opinion.
But at the end of the day it is fun and plenty of groups on Facebook for help and information join them and you will be able to get your questions answered.
Just keep swing.

Same as most other reviews, it’s unfair to be matched with players a lot higher than you. Practically impossible to win. I tend to forfeit in most of those cases as I rather not waste my time. Make it more fair for everyone, so that people enjoy the game more. I have it four stars because I enjoy the game but like I said, it’s unfair when you’re matched up with players much higher than you and with better clubs. Not everyone has the money to spend.

Used to be good but no longer
Countless hundreds of hours played over many years. Only game I ever spent money on as I thought the price had value for the amount of entertainment I received. But lately some of the apparent attempts to ‘improve’ the game by devs are exceptionally irritating and inexplicably stupid. 🤬 They had a good thing and now they definitely don’t.
