If you’re after an internet compatible heating/cooling system, do yourself a favour and buy anything else but this. The app is so buggy because the app controls don’t seem to be cloud queued, rather they interact directly with your unit via internet. This means you need to wait a few seconds after completing actions for it to sync to your unit, if you try changing temperature or fan speed too quickly, it glitches and reverts. The Ui feels like an app developed back when iPhone 3G was out, it’s slow and clunky. They’ve spent the bare minimum to develop this app or got something off the shelf. Can’t control any other settings or schedule your system to turn on/off, which you’d think would be a basic feature which any other app has. Google Home support no longer works, they blame Google but reality is Seeley can’t be bothered updating to modern requirements - no other smart home product has this issue or have “given up” on smart home development. Just shows this is a dead product spun as a marketing or sales tool to pretend they’re keeping up with the competition in the market… but they’re out of touch. Waste of $300!

Useless after upgrading to ios26
App is completely useless and broken after upgrading to ios26. Just hangs on a grey screen. Extremely disappointing considering that my cooler is only 2 years old and still under warranty and a major advertised feature no longer works. I expect this issue to be fixed asap before the summer season.

App is clunky, decides when it wants to work, is slow and is missing very basic functionality compared to competitors. The API is unstable and will not reconnect to the Air Con after it drops the wifi (and reconnects of course).
There is a lot of room for improvement.

If you have a heater upstairs and a seperate heater downstairs, you have to sign out of one and then sign in to the other. Very anoying!!!!

Doesn’t work since update
Updated app and it signs you out.
When trying to sign back in, presenter with error saying “missing required parameter USERNAME”.
It’s not empty, it’s there, and if you try to register again it says “email in use”

Not Connecting
There is a major bug in the latest version.
On launching the app an attempt is made to ‘connect to system’ but it never connects.
The app needs to be closed & re- opened to connect.
Also the status bar at the bottom is no longer visible. This was helpful in seeing that a command was executed.
How did this pass UAT & get released in this state? A fix would be appreciated.

Missing important functionality
Just installed the app ok, but cannot switch from Program to Manual mode an vice versa?
This is important for i.e when at home the unit is in Program mode, but when away for a few days need to change to manual mode and i.e 16 degrees so the house does not cool out too much. When on my way back to the house require to switch from Manual (and 16 Degrees) to Program mode, to be warm upon arrival.

It is ok, but needs improvement
It does the job but it’s clunky. It can’t handle multiple multiple instructions seamlessly. You can’t quickly browse through the zones, turn them on and off, adjust temperature, etc. It only works if you submit one change at a time. I don’t know if it’s the app or the inferior computer running the heater/ac.

Ever since the update there is no bar at the bottom to show if the command has gone through. It takes a good 5 times to get a command to get through. The old app was much better.

Reasonable
Reasonably functional but I would like to see the ability to manually drain and or flush the tank added to the commands list along with the return of the wifi command process bar so that when I change a setting while away, I can see the command being sent and accepted/failed etc. There used to be a command processing bar at the bottom of the app not that long ago but now I have no idea whether the system has received the command or not. Otherwise it’s not bad.

Multiple units
The app can’t handle multiple units.
If you have multiple units, you require a Wi-Fi interface on each of the units and a different user email to sign into each of them, so in larger residences, where you could have two systems, e.g. upstairs and downstairs you can’t control both without logging out and logging into the other. Very annoying.

Now when I try to connect it accepts credentials connects to my device. The device control screen flashes up, then it flicks back to the log on screen. Does this 4 to 5 times then states can’t connect.

For a Smart Device, there aren’t many smart features in this APP…
Developers need to think about what’s in the controller… this should be standard for what’s in the APP.. as well as Geo Location enablement… so many great features that could be in the APP..

Finally works like a charm
After a few years of having this app, it finally works EVERY TIME. Just wanted to share our positive feedback. For the first couple of years the wifi would drop out regularly rendering the app useless but now it’s like a different system.

Very limited functionality
Same interface as the controller which works ok as a remote control.
Does NOT work with Siri, Google Home or Alexa. The cost of the wifi module is very high in relation to the functionality provided. Other third party thermostats (which are not compatible with Braemar) are cheaper and offer much more versatility in that they can be voice controlled via Google home etc. having the ability to voice control via home assistant means you can turn on and off your thermostat without having to reach for a phone. Would get 4-5 stars if Google home functionality was available.

I got the wifi installed for braemar central gas heater. The app took a bit to setup and wifi module needs to be close to router. App is slow to open and change settings takes a bit of time. You need to be patient. It’s missing schedule features. I’d expect a better functioning unit for the price.

Hoping something
I installed breamair from sealer ,which has this magic touch, I saw this app and installed hoping it will work because, it is (evap) installed in 2021 built house with touch screen display . But I am stuck with connecting the app to the system, i tried to find if there was anything to connect the app.didn’t find anything. And don’t know if it really works with our system. Created user name and password through app, it’s says my account is active, it says need to go to finish the set up in controllers, controller doesn’t shows anything. What is this app for! For high end products or for all new products.

Poor Set Up Instructions
I have just had the Aircon installed,

(after creating and account where the email address is case sensitive - NOTE email addresses are not case sensitive for the rest of the internet)
Then go to the MagIQtouch Panel and configure the connection.
I’ve searched through the menu items so where is the connection configured? what a decent interface designer would do:
Settings/connections/WifiConnection/…. There’s nothing
At the very least a click by click instruction should be provided with photo’s of the steps. Something I do for my new staff when they join my IT team.

Stressed trying to link app to wall control unit
With power outage it loose it’s link. So reset password and asked to go to wall unit to logon. Many times and keep getting “cannot verify”. HELP MY EVAPORATIVE COOLER IS NOT WORKING.

New features suggestion
Sadly for a smart home app it is not very helpful in a smart home. Need to add HomeKit, Google and Alexa control. It would be good if you could add these so that you could create automations for heating or cooling when temperatures reach certain point that user sets. Apart from missing they few key things the app is OK!

Worst App I have ever come across- waste of money
This app is by far the worst I have ever come across and feeling ripped off by spending more than $700 on Hardware- I can really recommend to not buy any seeley products and hope this feedback makes others to avoid this painful experience- on top the technical support is a joke too and the wall controllers delaminate after just 10 months . First of all the installation is far from intuitive and it took my plumber 2 days by talking to seeley to make it somehow work but then it came to use the app and it got even worse. App signs off randomly and cannot sign in again, when resetting the password you look up the 6 digit code in your email and you cannot get back to the screen on the app to enter the password- when you finally trick it by using a second phone to look up the code you reset password but it still doesn’t recognise your new password. While away you try to use the app and it asks you to enter things on the main controller- well that defeats the purpose of the whole system in the first place being able to control your heating and cooling remotely - while in the topic of being a useless product it prides itself being compatible with google home which is a joke - you might be able to switch it on and off but that’s it- really ? Yes not a joke actually sad that a company like Seeley thinks this is good enough to unleash onto customers is beyond me. Well all up just buy something else and I hope others can about this painful mistake that I have done with this review. P.S. I am not affiliated to any company - I am just a frustrated customer that feels ripped off

Best feedback I can give is it works.
Really poor UI. Slow responsive on changes. Really shows a lack of care on the app.
Re-design, HomeKit, optimisation for new iPhone, widget on Home Screen would all make a significant difference to user experince.

Tried to use the app yesterday and there was a message saying timed logout. I didn’t understand what was happening so created a new password thinking maybe it was needed. Now I can’t log back in despite setting a new

Works ok could be improved
Had installed this on my new evap and generally it works well.
I’d like to see added to the app would
Be ability to put the unit into pump only flush mode in case of fire to keep the pads wet.
Otherwise works pretty well, even got the google integration working after a bit of guessing as to the voice commands (don’t seem to be listed anywhere and what descriptions there are the commands are wrong)

A couple of bugs
Air conditioning unit (Breezair) is great itself but the app puts the fan speed at the max setting of 10 all by itself, as well as crashes occasionally.

Changing fan speeds on heat or cool
Trying to change the fan speed on the cooling and heating sections doesn’t really work. Not finding the app very good at all. It’s super basic, you can’t really change any major settings unless you go to the wall mount you can only change between, heat cool and fan and then the temperature. Disappointed

Great idea but poor execution
I love this concept, particularly being able to switch on my heater before I get home, and it’s good when it works, but experiencing constant poor performance. Loading the app is very slow, the wall unit constantly loses the wifi connection even though the router is located 1 meter from the wall controller. Sometimes my heat switches itself on during the day or night without me turning it on. My unit is only a few months old but I’ve been super frustrated with it daily since installing it. Would be good if Seeley could make improvements to connectivity and stability in the app as soon as possible as it’s costing me a fortune in heat when it turns my heat on for 8-10 hours a day while I’m at work.

From love to hate
Loved the app for the first 7 days it worked. Now it’s stuck on 0 and will not change, the main system turns off now because of it and nothing will fix this. Not at all impressed, especially reading this is a common problem! Was a huge selling point for us choosing the system we did. Get past the red tape and fix it please!

Can not adjust temperature on app
This app has stopped working on both my iPhone X and iPad after just one month.
I can turn the unit on however the temperature is on zero degrees and I can’t adjust it up or down. The app probably needs an update to fix the issue/bug.

Limited functionality
Firstly I have been unable to get the app working on my iPhone 7. It does however work on my iPad and wife’s iPhone 6s.
I expected more from the app. It is a trimmed down version of the actual lcd controller. It does allow some fan speed control and the ability to switch from cool to fan alone but that’s pretty much where it stops. For it to be a useful app it needs to add timer control and the other functions possible on the lcd controller.

Wonderful
Been using this App for a couple of weeks now and love the fact I can control my heating without having to go to the thermostat. I’ve also become addicted to checking what the temperature is inside my house when I’m at work even when the heating is not on. The only negative I have is that I have to go to the thermostat to create or change the schedule.

Nice idea but
I’m a big user of apps but this one has become just more and more frustrating. 60% of the time it just won’t find the wifi. So I go to the family room and stand in front of the wifi to see if proximity will help and it still won’t find it. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app many times to fix this so what is the story with it.
