Bug pls fix

Hi team,

There are two issues with the shift system:

1. The shift notification is not showing any conflict shifts when there is a clash.

2. When clicking on the notification, it does not redirect directly to the relevant shift details.

Could you please check and fix these issues

Signing out

It would be useful if we could sign out before uploading notes. This is because there are times that there is no time for notes when we finish.

Calendar Integration

One thing that could be improved is the calendar integration. Currently, when shifts are changed, updates don’t always sync in real time with Google Calendar, which can be a bit confusing.

It would also be great if there was an option to directly connect and sync with Apple Calendar, as many users rely on it for daily scheduling.

Other than that, the app works well and is very useful for support workers!

Great App for Care Workers

ShiftCare is a very useful app for managing shifts and client notes. It helps support workers keep everything organized and makes reporting very easy. The app is simple to use and saves a lot of time.

I find ShiftCare is ok, The new updates has made things easier and a bit better but one downfall I have found is that when you log the travel Klms you can’t put a decimal point. For example a participant is 900 metres from the office or say 1.6 away we either have to round up or down because we can’t put the exact Klms travelled. In this case the participant will either get under charged or over charged because the app only accepts round numbers.

Easy to use and great customer service any questions and queries I have have been answered. They also give you training and the system is so easy to use Shift Care customer service set up your system on your computer and also provide you with an app for your employees to clock in and clock out Very easy to use. Unavailablities Section Clumsy

Good enough app however time off section is clumsy. I can set time off for a year in advance but can’t delete them all in one lot and have to individually go through and delete each one, which is incredibly time consuming and problematic when life changes. You also can’t edit them once set, must delete and fully redo. I have struggled with this issue multiple times now.

Disappointing

I'd like more options to change shift notifications. I get no notification when my shift has changed and only 15 minutes before my shift starts. Way too late to do anything if I've overlooked a shift.

The mileage displays in a way that is not easy to read. It doesn't automatically add the total for me.

Great app could be better with calendar crossing

This is a brilliant app. It’s great for Work purposes however it would be even better if it would connect to my Google calendar so then I don’t have to jump out of ShiftCare and go over to my Google calendar and see what I’ve got going on that day before I apply for a shift and vice versa I’m constantly jumping in and out of both apps just to see what I’ve got going on and then I’ve gotta go back into it And what not but then honestly better as well as if the shifts that you applied for showed up on the job board as well so you can see if you’ve already got a shift on the day that you’re looking at other shifts would be great don’t know

Unavailability

The new leave availability needs to be fixed. It is a major step backwards and takes much longer to fill out. Also if you put leave in and want to change availability it is not possible to do yourself. Very annoying update. All our staff members are very annoyed. Just change it back to how it was as app was really good before.

Recent update of availability

The recent update, needs to be fix. If u messed up fixing ur availability and u accidentally submit, u cant edit it out and fix it.

You have to ask help from the one fixing the roster. How bothersome.

Last time it was easy as 10secs. Availability fix. No dramas.

Hopefully they’ll revert it back. I like thats they put it on the side tab and there reoccurring option. But you cant edit it out is a thing.

Exceptional interface and functions

The app is convenient and easy to access. However, the service provider needs to adjust some care categories that are more relevant and practical to th client. For example, if that client dont take medication regularly, there should be something else for this client. Thank you.

Really good app, minor improvements needed

App is easy to use and has lots of good features already. Small things that would be helpful if added would be when a shift is allocated it advises somewhere who allocated it, makes it easier to communicate with the right person.

Additionally a tick or writing on the week view against the shift advising/resembling its been reviewed & approved or reviewed & needs additional info i.e. receipt. This would assist with following up with management if shift time hasn’t been altered to suit notes. Perfect app however these additions would be super helpful!

Please please consider enabling admin layout or some of its functions in the mobile app, or in a second app. Some smaller providers are on the go a lot and it’s hard to make adjustments. The website can be added as an ‘app’ but it’s too clunky

Handy features but poor execution

Really handy ideas and features but poor execution unfortunately. Between the cost and app crashes, it caused more frustration than it was worth. Unfortunately had to opt for a different app altogether.

It’s handy, but need more improvement

When notification of new shift comes up, I can not see any updates in notification field which poped up just second through shiftcare app.

To check new notifications, I have to remove all previous app pages I opened just before then open the shiftcare app again. It’s really annoying. New shift notification sometimes pops up more than 5-10 times in a sec. After checking first notification then I have to delete old opened pages then open the new pages to check the newest notification. Because of this, I lost a chance to take enough shift. Other guys took all ahead of me. Please fix this issues ASAP

The app is very good though I wish that you please give us the option of using google maps instead of redirecting me to Apple Maps straightaway. I am using iPhone but I still find Google maps more efficient. And I hope you can add the recipient’s contact number as well. That way I don’t have to keep on checking the previous application called Sling that was used by my company, just to check on the contact number.

Shiftcare app is ok although it still has issues other reviewers have pointed out. Unfortunately the web login for Shiftcare Connect is completely useless on the phone! Clearly it wasn’t even a consideration when it was made! Won’t be wasting our money on it until it is greatly improved!!

Freezes up

Every time l go to into shift care it freezes up l have a iPhone XR 6. I have to then uninstall the app completely and reinstall before every shift in the App Store so lm able to clock on and also later do it all again after a shift to write my notes. Incredibly annoying and timely. I am not in favour of shift care at all.

Couple of changes would make it five star

Issues looking at past dates to see hours worked/approved, and when I go forward to upcoming dates, I have to close the whole app to get it back to current date.

Also, if there was a way to sync work dates to google calendar this would go a long way to assisting in family planning for future events.

Otherwise, this is a clean and simple interface.

Good app- needs some improvements

My staff find the app simple and mostly easy to use. Progress notes sometimes don’t save or save twice, and is hard to write once you write a certain amount in covers what you write so you cannot see it as you are writing.

There also needs to be more client information easily accessible upon opening the shift such as contact numbers for the client. Staff have also requested that only days that include a shift should be present upon opening the app, rather than showing empty days.

Easy to use and easily accessible.

Shiftcare is very easy to use! All the information needed for a shift is easily seen and accessible.

Although, I have had to resort to writing my shift notes in a seperate app, and copying the notes to shiftcare, because, in the note writing section of the app, once my notes have exceeded a certain point, the keyboard covers the notes and I can’t see what I am writing, because the area is covered by the keyboard.

When I try to scroll down so I can see what I am typing, I am unable to do so, it just resets back at the top of the page.
