I was hoping to find a app for my device where I could write even the most simple thoughts of mine where no one could see them but me, I often feel to anxious to write in a physical diary I was glad I found this!
It’s simple, although the dates can be a little complicated, but the password ensures that you and you alone can only access it.

Would love if when searching through for a word or sentence, it actually got highlighted in the diary entry (kind of like when you ctrl F on the computer) so you’re not reading through every single word.

There's a lot of diary apps on this platform, but honestly, going through them and also having downloaded this app, I can confidently say you won't find any other app as good as this one if what your looking for is a nice simple diary. No ads, just one feature being the writing itself.
I adore how straight to the point it is. It has one function and it executes it perfectly. It answers a problem, 'I want to have a secure diary but not in paper' it's that solution if you want a digital safe keeping your thoughts and secrets.

Great and simple to use
I love that you can use it without having to pay like so many other apps out there, as a student that is trying to stay on top of homework. I’m not going to lie, I think $8 AUD is a little much, but I am happy that it’s a one time payment instead of monthly. Over all, I think it’s an amazing app!

A simple app. Reasonable.
Looking to journal. Wanted a basic app. So subscriptions. No ads. No frills. This ap is that, I purchased the full app essentially, it seems for night mode. The following improvements for at least paid users would be good: - adjust the formatting so that no text Showed when scrolling through journal entries. I don’t wish to see the sentence. - 12 hour time option (I was contacted by the developer and advised that this is an option. I appreciate this correspondence and attention to detail) a way to rate the day, by colour or number. Eg green is a great day, orange is okay and red is bad. Would be useful to track and overall theme. Overall this app is basic and that is what I was after. There are a couple slightly clunky spots, like requesting a review of the app kept coming up - it did prompt this review but it was also very repetitive. I appreciate the app and would love to see a widget so that I may quickly add the days entry.

I forgot the code to my diary and I cannot find a ‘forgot your code’ feature. I would like to offer up the suggestion of a back up question that the user can set upon downloading so that this issue can be avoided. In love with the UI, minimalist design!
Been using it for a couple days now and I really love the clean design.
I’m using it on my iPad with my wireless keyboard, and my only gripe at the moment is the fact that I can’t have another app open on the side at the same time. It doesn’t utilise iPad’s split screen. I’d love to watch a video on the side as I type. At the moment I can’t just only listen to podcasts in the background.

I downloaded this awhile ago and as many users have already said, It is very simple to use. I do not regret the small amount of money I paid to allow access to the premium functions. If I had one request or suggestion, it would be to include the ability to specify a certain date or dates from which you can EASILY extract all information to a PDF file. Right now I can’t see anyway of doing it other than creating a different PDF document for each day. This isn’t ideal if you want to view a week at a time, for example?

Good for gratefulness
I’m currently doing the gratefulness challenge where every day you say/write three specific things that you were grateful for that day. I’ve only had this app a couple days but it’s been really helpful; every evening I write an entry with each of the three things I’m grateful for. Perfectly simple
I have been using this to journal and it’s the best one on the App Store that I could find that was simple and didn’t have a difficult ui. It’s has many different ways to lock the app to keep your stuff safe, you can back your journal up and restore it, and it has a reminder for if you keep forgetting like I do.

Seems easy to use and good format so I Paid for full app. Was crashing everytime I try to opened the reminder section but that was resolved by turning on notifications in my phone’s settings.(thanks for the help with that)

great - simple and easy to use diary app
i wanted a very simple and not extravagant diary app to write down my thoughts (especially during the Covid19 pandemic) where no one would read them.
almost all aspects of the app are perfect - it’s easy to jot down thoughts or write longer entries, there are ways to personalise the look of the app, and it’s easy for me to find previous entries.
the only thing i don’t love about the app is that i can’t back up or save my entries from the entire year unless i get the premium option, which i usually avoid. this means i most likely will lose what i’ve written unless i pay to get premium - to then simply upload my entries somewhere. i was wondering if there was another way to save/upload the journal entries?
other than that, it’s a pretty good app and i have been using it quite a lot. thanks :)

Perfect pocket journal
This app does everything I was hoping for. It’s a fast, easy to use pocket journal and it’s so easy to navigate within the app itself. Easy To Use
This is a no frills app which is very easy to use. I like how it is locked so I can be completely honest with what I write. I also like how it has no ads and no ridiculous yearly subscriptions. I would like there to be a choice of coloured backgrounds to write on as the white/grey is a bit depressing for me. However I do recommend you try this app out as it is worth it.
Note to the developer - when I increase the size of the font the number size does not increase too. Would you be able to fix this?

A useful journaling tool
I downloaded this app as a journaling tool. Its smart, intuitive i.e. its easy to use and works well. And it has no ads and no sell up to 'premium' versions (at least I haven't seen any yet). Lovely and very user friendly
I downloaded the app hoping for an easy journal I could keep regarding daily activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been really easy to use and keep track of. I like the idea (and use a lot) the time stamp.
The only thing that could improve my experience is if I could mark, colour or flag certain days as I would like to refer back to certain activities that I have done without having to read all the entries if I cannot remember the date. Hopefully the developers can come up with a solution to this problem. The simplicity of the app is beautiful and I don’t think adding a feature to mark certain dates would take away from the aesthetic.

As a teenager, I have quite a bit of stress on my shoulders. Writing it down calms me down a little and helps me heal. I wouldn’t like it if my parents looked at my diary. That’s where the passcode comes into place. You can have a 4-digit passcode, protecting your thoughts. This app stopped me from doing some stupid things

It’s also very simple, and the style of it perfectly suits my interest: not too flashy or technical.

Problem with dates
I like the simplicity of this app. The problem is recently all entries in the app have regressed by one day right back to when I started making entries. So all entries are showing one day earlier than the dates they happened. I thought I must have put in a couple of entries wrong but then found every single one was out by a day. I am not sure if this happened when I recently upgraded to the paid version or with a recent update. All the same, it basically renders the app unusable if you want to keep accurate records. I would love to give 5 stars, but until this issue is resolved can only give it one.
In response to the developers comments, the date and time settings are correct. I am not sure if the issue started when I upgraded to the paid version. All I know is that for no apparent reason all entries from the very first entry now show a day earlier than when they were entered. I would love to change my review to a positive one if a resolution can be found to this problem.

At first I was ambivalent about this app. I am a 30yr veteran developer myself and therefore have created a number of simple apps to complex enterprise software solutions. It is nice to have a clean, clear method to make notes and diarise activity. Some suggestions if I may:
1. Option to auto-add a time at the beginning of a row or section
2. Include the calculator functionality that you sell for 2.99 and simply increase the price or offer 2 options, with and without the calculator integration.
