Looses the session constantly

I don’t know what is happening with the new version of this app, but at least 3 times a day I have to login to the app again. Many times I wanna buy a cupom to use at that exact moment and it sings out. And the magic code to login again sometimes takes a long time to get to my mailbox and a lot of the times is does not even come.

Disappointing frustrating

Purchased vouchers with no issue however when tried to retrieve them - straight away - it was taking me to log in page with no voucher details. I had to drive back home to access and print the vouchers on my desktop computer! Not very convenient at all in fact very annoying

There seems to be an issue when ever you need to use this app.....

It says to re log in , to receive a magic code

Then dies not send and asks you to contact the help desk - but no obvious details to contact the help desk

Unreliable

The deals are good but the app itself is atrocious. It constantly crashes and takes an age to actually buy a voucher when you need one in store.

I have been sledding the last 15 minutes in Big W trying to buy a voucher but it just doesn’t progress and comes up with a ‘sorry it’s taking so long’ message.

Sort it out it pull it down if it doesent work

WORST APP EVER. DO NOT USE IT WHEN THERES NO SERVICE IT KICKS YOU OUT THEN YOU HAVE TO SEND THEM PHOTO ID WHICH I NEVER PRODUCED TO OPEN THE ACCOUNT SO WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO CHECK IT AGAINST THEN IT SAYS IT TAKES 2 DAYS TO VARIFY! ABSOLUTE JOKE.

I thought this was great until it took half an hour of trying to scan the new formatted Coles gift cards! In the end the service lady had to type in the numbers on another screen. If it’s not fixed I won’t be using again. The Woolworths ones are good because they work with the Woolworths money app.

Keep losing session and have to re-login

Despite having pin or finger point scan setup. This app still keeps ask user to put in username and password to login. Is there anything we can do about it? It has a real impact on the app usability.

Love this app

Great app with access to so many great discounts. Very easy to use and am able to pay with my vouchers instantly at the shop counter or when I’m online shopping

Not great app

Tried a few times to buy vouchers at the stores and takes forever to download. You can’t see what the remainder credit is left on an existing voucher.

Today I have been logged out again and still waiting for a magic code and it’s been 10 hours. The last time this happened it took 3 days to resolve. Chatted on line to George who was nothing but unhelpful.

Makes it very difficult to use and save $$$$

Consistently buggy

A lot of times when you are at a store trying to use it, the keyboard doesn't appear, meaning you can't search for the retailer.

Also, have had the payment details wiped, which has resulted in spending an extra few minutes re-entering the details. Which can be difficult when the keyboard doesn't appear.

User experience for this app is quite awful.

Unreliable - Never works when you need it!

There’s always a problem that prevents you from using it.

Not being able to see the balance as most of users have pointed out makes it very unpractical. I feel this is a problem from the actual merchants, that only wants you to buy the coupon but never spend it, so making it clunky makes it more likely that you will not spend the whole balance. You end up with lots of coupons not fully used and the savings is just a illusion.

It’s annoying when you want to buy credit to pay when you are the counter and it doesn’t work; and extremely annoying when you have the credit but can’t access it.

So what you have to do is to buy in advance, which is vey good for the merchants, and then when you gonna spend the credit it doesn’t work.

Bottom line is - good for the merchants that get paid in advance, good for the employer that lures you with perceived benefits and for the company that sells this to the employer; the user is the one that have to lend money to the merchants and can’t use it in the end.

Good app

It’s a good app, easy to use and reliable.

Some feedbacks:

Can you call lease add a feature to add some free flow comments against the purchased vouchers?

For example, I want to write down how much is used, how much money is left for use etc against each voucher.

Also I want to qualify which voucher is used by my wife and which one by my daughter so that I will not use those.

Really bad functionality

Can’t see the balance of cards!! This is the worst part!

Each card needs to open in a browser so you can’t access in some supermarkets where the phone signal is bad.

Used cards don’t automatically disappear, you have to manually move them to “used”.

For large denominations, multiple cards are purchased eg $100 + $50. So this is very time consuming and embarrassing when trying to pay at the checkout while accessing multiple cards and waiting for the browser to load each one.

Badly designed app, frustrating as hell to use

Purchased a DJs gift card. Want to buy another but transaction is rejected. Contact my bank, they said no issue at their end and to check with merchant. Tried to buy a few more times then locked out of account. App says Magic code sent to registered email address but never received. Can’t locate url for desktop login either. Now I can’t even use my initial gift card as I can’t login to the app. A shambles all round.

It seems to be every time I go to make a larger purchase, the site locks me out until I forward proof of id via scanning, and then has taken two days (or longer) for reactivating

Credit card payment doesn’t go successfully for first couple of try

Credit card payment doesn’t go successfully for first couple of try. You have to shut down the app after trying twice and then may be third time the transaction happens successfully.

Stopped working. Impossible to add your credit card

App no longer works. Says the credit cards arrangements have changed but impossible to bring up the part of the app to add your card again.

The only way to do this is when you purchase but it just won’t display the fields for you to enter.

I contact support via the apps chat and could not resolve the problem either. Said I had to wait till next time I need to purchase and try via the web site then.

A lot of frustration to try and save a few dollars.

Whenever a large purchase is made, my credit card transaction does not get approved. If I try again, my account in the app. then becomes locked. I then need to jump on the desktop site and scan some type of ID such as drivers licence and wait a day or two for it to be unlocked! Yesterday I had to leave a TV behind, today it’s still locked and I can’t use my existing Coles voucher that I previously paid for!

Purchasing eGift Cards consistently fails

Every time I use this app to purchase an Instant eGift Card, the transaction is declined once or twice, which means I need to retry the purchasing two or three times. Every time! This is basic functionality. When I raised this with support, they recommended I use the website instead. What’s the point of this app then? Why can’t you fix this problem?

Works but needs fixes.

I have used this several times. Seems to work well.

But needs instant and traceable credit remaining on e-cards. For example if you buy an e-card for $50 and spend $37 in store, there is no way, that I can see to find out remaining credit of $13 on that e-card. Sort this out and it’s all good.

Disgusting payment implementation

Tried to pay by a card at checkout at least 3 times and app still haven’t managed to complete the operation. Instead I had to pay from website and ended up with 2x order amount preauthorized for several weeks.

That was my second in a row attempt to buy stuff via app that failed on payment stage.

This app used to work but now it fails every time I try to use my credit card to purchase eGift cards. I could have saved a few hundred dollars by now if it worked. I had to go back to using the website to purchase now.

Just sooooooo bad ,

Once my account was locked, message displayed saying I will get an email, which didnt arrive.

Whenever I need to buy e-voucher, app always fails and freezes. Either you have to keep trying to make payment 30 times or try every 10 mins :). Not the first time happening so Im sure nothing to do with their payment gateway integration or credit card issuers :), so no need to blame on third parties.

Ok value for the broken UX

Barcodes and remaining balances should be cached locally in app and ready for instant visualisation even when offline. Opening a browser is a broken experience for the key purpose of this app. It’s unreliable in some store locations, slow, and embarrassing to use. :) I’d love to hear this is on the roadmap. Cheers

Have to keep re-registering

I have registered and used the app which is great however now that I want to use it again I have to re-register. Too bad the magic code goes to my work address that I can’t access whilst out and about. Frustrating as I had it set up with a pin and now this appears to have gone and I have to start all over again. This surely should not be the case. Would be a great app if it worked.

Still buggy

Still lots of bugs. Doesn’t display the discount rates on the main page suggesting discounts. App crashes when trying to look at vouchers. Please fix this up. It’s really frustrating when you are doing a transaction (usually in a store) and the app fails all the time.

Great idea. Poor execution

Biggest problem- crashes constantly - just when doing basic tasks like accessing you voucher details. Fix that. Integrate balance checks. Allow users to note remaining balances on cards. Winning.
