You literally do nothing
I don’t understand why this game was created, nor why there is in-app purchases. Like literally, you swipe the screen then the ocean washes the castles away. What is the point?

Stunning Art Experiment
Sandcastles... is a brilliant demonstration of some really good animation, complementing a simple visual style that’s soothing, and always welcome. This is a mindfulness tool and a lesson in object impermanence rather than a game, and it shows that a simple concept can still be engaging even when there are no winners or losers. I highly recommend getting the paid version to discover even more amazing models of castles, which adds a fresh new perspective to the app without altering the main message of the game.

I love everything about this bootiful app
I see it, I like it, I want it, I LOVE IT! It kept me on the app for 30 minute straight. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to waste their time in a good way.

this is the dumbest game ever. you literally swipe the screen and watch waves destroy your creations. that’s it. it’s so stupid. don’t get it, it’s a waste of time and storage.

Mozutung’s Game Review
Great. Relaxing, good for anger management, and really just simple and kills time. To all of the people saying that they want their castles to stay or adjust the time on the waves, you can go and play minecraft. Everything saves there. Though there is not much effort put into it, there doesn’t need to be. I like how there is flags and castle bumps, whiteout having to purchase anything. You can’t spell effort without rhyming it with error, which is why I think this game is a good metaphor of trial and error, in other activities in real life, or digitally. Keep making projects like these, we really like them.

About 30 Second from install to delete
Really, I 'get' that its meant to be relaxing. But some attempt could have been made to have the water react to the castle, maybe swirling around, maybe a big strong long line of castles partially surviving to be built on. But there is nothing, its 20 seconds long, and the water may as well be a CLEARSCREEN command. Why would ANYONE pay to unlock different castles?? Just not entertaining at all.

A bit of fun
I like this little app, the castles are cool. But please, developers, can you make it so the sea doesn’t come in so quickly to wash the castles away? I would like more time to enjoy building and looking at the castles before they get washed away. That’s why only 3 stars. More castle time, less sea.

This app isn’t the best app when it comes to just wanting to play a game with amazingly good content for playing continuously. However this game is more made for when you have a minute or so of just waiting at the bus stop.
The waves can get annoying but it makes you appreciate the time you have o build more.

Simple and yet.... too simple.
Drag your finger up and watch in amazement as a block appears that looks like a house. Then watch in amazement as a blue wave comes and destroys all your 3 seconds of hard work.

Not much to it
It seems nice and is fun to play with for the first minute but then gets boring since it is the same thing and you can never save the sandcastles anyway. There is heaps of lag which is a horrible experience. I am still giving you 3 stars for the nice sounds and calming nature of the app. More needs to be added though
