Description

Support family and friends who use Freestyle Libre sensors by following their glucose information anytime, anywhere using LibreLinkUp.
Use LibreLinkUp to:
• Accept invitations to view data from up to 20 family members and friends [1]
• Receive glucose readings whenever they scan their sensor with their app [2]
• Receive shared glucose alarms that alert you when their glucose level is too low or too high [3]
• Review up to the 100 most recent glucose readings or shared glucose alarms
[1] You must accept invitations from FreeStyle LibreLink mobile app users in order for them to share glucose information with you.
[2] Both your app and Freestyle Libre sensor user’s app must be connected to the Internet in order share glucose information.
[3] Shared glucose alarms are only available when your LibreLinkUp app is connected to FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users who have enabled glucose alarms in their app. When glucose alarms are enabled in your LibreLinkUp app, you will receive the same low- and high-glucose alarm notifications that the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor user receives in their app.

Useful Tool for Diabetes Management

I find this is a very useful tool to help me manage my brother’s Type 1 diabetes. He is mentally handicapped and struggled to manage his diabetes on his own.
Whenever he does a scan, I am immediately alerted with the result plus an indication as to how his BGL is changing (slow, rapid or very rapid) and in which direction.
I then gave the to look back over his scan results in this app or go online for a more comprehensive check via LibreView.
This app provides another level of freedom for me to go about my own day knowing that I have great access to my brother’s BGL’s and have greater peace of mind as a consequence.
I just hope he doesn’t lose his phone (again🥴)!

Almost useless

This app is almost useless. Don’t be fooled by the marketing that tells you that you will be kept up to date. All it does is give you the current reading given by Freestyle LibreLinkUp-au. What I want is the history of the sensor so I can see my daughters trends and movements over the past 8 hours. I also want to be able to see the comments she has added in LibreLinkUp about how much insulin she had and meals etc. to get this information I now have to go on line to Libreview.
