Adware, and money hungry with fake reviews
Don’t bother, this app is basically adware that sometimes allows a barcode scan. Literally go to safari, search ‘online barcode scanner’ and just upload a pic or screenshot to a simple web app that isn’t gonna scrape the residue from your wallet. Also, several reviews here are for a hotel, a dentist, a fruit shop, and a restaurant. This is to boost the rating by faking positive reviews.

Tried to scan a credit card to activate and wouldn’t work. Week later I see a pending charge for 13 bucks. Scam that I will report to ACCC if I’m charged as there is no mention about a trial period.

When I scanned the barcode, it introduced me to the scam site with the advertisement of the scam site, and the money was deducted from my account. No matter how many emails I sent, they did not answer. Do not install this app.

Potential Security risk
I just received a email from Netflix telling me I changed my plan which I never did.
When I looked at the devices logged in one was from Texas I don’t know anyone who lives in Texas nore do I use a VPN.
I change my passwords often and I use this QR scanner to make it easier to log into my accounts.
I never had this problem until I started using this app don’t use this application.

Screams very loud at you with music and ads as soon as you turn it on and then freezes for a minute before you can cancel it. Or maybe the author just hates people. Couldn’t even read any codes I tried. Constant ads. Seriously bad and I had to share way to much info for it to work. Do not get this.

Just use Google app. Free and easy. This was great but waaaayyyyy to many ads. Upgraded in hope that basic respect for user had been realised but got hit with even more and longer ads!!! Delete this and just using Google app. Much quicker and easier.

When I first opened the app it immediately asked me to sign up to the pro feature. When I were trying to get the image it gave me a http instead of the image. When I tried to get the image it only lead me to 404 error. It didn’t give me the image. Waste of time don’t bother buying it.

Wrong dates
I only got the app to be able to scan for COVID-19 check in. The scanner is easy to use, however the date was incorrect on both occasions that I used it (the date on the app was the day before I was actually at the locations)...which of course, completely defeats the purpose of checking in for covid tracking. The app also pushed me to subscribe for $13 a month (as in, I could t use it the second time until I subscribed), and I had to go into my subscriptions to cancel it

Charged $45 for pro version but I never signed up
I used this app for the first time in ages on Friday just gone, and I’ve just received an invoice from Apple thanking me for my payment/upgrade to the pro version. Funny thing is, I didn’t sign up to the pro version. I don’t want it. And I’ve never had much use for the free version anyway. I have had the app for years and maybe used it three times. Who would pay $45 for something they hardly ever use? I demand a refund immediately.

had downloaded the app, however, wouldn’t let me scan any barcodes? Deleted it and re-downloaded it just too see if that would change anything. It had not. Poor app, defeats the purpose of a having barcode scanner really. Would look at other apps.

As soon as I got into the app, straight away the 3-day trial pops up, and I didn’t really want it as I only wanted to scan one thing. I tried tapping on the little x at the top, but it would not let me get out of trial pop up. I shut down the app and re-opened it, but it still didn’t close down trial pop up. I never even got to scan the thing I wanted to.

This app show like Free but after few weeks later they send invoice if you received and found you are luck BC still have time and protect ur money. First down load and few weeks later the app automatically renew and steal ur money. Be careful

This app (advertised as free) as a monthly cost which it automatically starts after a few weeks, even if you decline and/or delete the app. And it is a weekly debit which easily runs into hundreds of dollars a year.
There are QR reader apps that are free and do a great job.

Deceiving theft
I downloaded this free app and then noticed a charge on my credit card! I contacted Apple and they said it was a charge for an auto renewal subscription. This was never mentioned to me and I was never asked to confirm a payment of any kind. This is a scam in the hope that people either won’t notice the charge or won’t bother disputing the $5.99.
