Your documentation will automatically synchronise with the Ausmed website (also free to use) ensuring your records are constantly backing up to the cloud. Convenience of AUSMED app
I would like to continue using Ausmed, but I am having difficulty receiving return email and voice message response I sent about to a simple question of; why was I charged $90 for July 20 to October 20? I am under the impression $90 is a 12 month fee! Please help me solve this simple question .
Iove the convenience of Ausmed app, it’s on my phone, I can add CPD documentation sitting in my car anywhere anytime, I have the app on my tablet makes it easier to review on a bigger screen

I love this app.
Downloaded it a week ago and have recommended it to 10 colleagues since then. My cpd portfolio until now has consisted of saved emails, shopping bags of certificates etc and a promise to myself that I’ll do it one day.
This week has been that day. I’ve done my entire years CPD Reflections and compilation in about 3 hours. Makes it so easy!

Not saving records.
I am not sure why this occurred but I completed a topic and only received a message saying that it could not be uploaded once I was ready to save. Fine but I was unable to save a copy for later and exiting the program and re typing everything had the same affect. If there is an issue with internet connection (which I don’t believe there was) at least let me save it for later. After several attempts Of loosing records entered, I have decided to keep all records off line to avoid this frustration.

Ausmed and my CNS portfolio.
Recently our unit introduced a yearly CNS review and portfolio requirement to support our ongoing retention of Clinical Nurse Specialist grade.
I was able to easily supply my Line Manager with a professional and up to date portfolio documenting my continuing education for the previous year by simply recording experiences as I attended them.
From inservices and conferences attended to presentations given, this information was recorded and then my report was downloaded into a hard copy and supplied with my retention application.
I would recommend that all nurses regardless of their experience to utilise this app to reduce time and stress if they were ever required or they were audited for registration purposes. Cheers Ruth Wootton, John Hunter NICU.

Paid version not good for CPD plan
Very easy to use. Adding an activity is simple and easy. Like that can easily attach evidence and reflections made easy by being asked simple questions. However, planning function is not enough for pharmacist CPD requirements and there is nowhere to link learning outcomes with national competency standards.

As a psychologist I require more learning tasks to address the mental health issues that are more appropriate to my profession. It is good to have somewhere to document my pd work but I find I am not offered enough material to cover my professional development requirements.

Mandatory Training Modules
This app is great at tracking CPD points and offering further education, however when I try to get into any of the Mandatory Training Modules it says “The course is not supported by this version of the app” which is disappointing considering I’ve got a subscription to learn more on these.

Great app for recording CPD
A friend recommended the app as a way of recording CPD performed. I hadn’t realised that if audited I am now able to download a report and all the hard work is already done! There are options to subscribe to CPD through ausmed but this isn’t mandatory, and the app is still great without subscribing. Would recommend to any health professionals.
