I made over 100 patterns but it’s such a pain to export them. You have to do each one individually! I can’t even export them in Creative Cloud which I’m a premium member of. You can only access the patterns in Creative Cloud apps but they’re locked files. There is no way of getting all the individual patterns as image files. I’m cancelling my Adobe plan because of this.

I spent a lot of time converting a written document to an SVG with this app, finished it yet it wouldn’t let me to save to my camera roll and instead insisted on saving it to the cloud. So I did that. And guess what? My file is nowhere to be found. An hour wasted. Nice work. This is exactly why I’m hesitant to upgrade to the full monthly adobe package.

Great simple little app, but it is very limited in its functions. My main use for it is the smoothing effect to quickly experiment with ideas. Just a couple of things could vastly improve this app. For example the ability to select which 2 colours you would like the vector to be made into, instead of having just black and white. Particularly the ability to have a transparent background instead of white. Again, this function would allow very quick reworks of ideas and experimentation which can be quickly exported to other adobe apps and software to refine.

Sadly I am still a CS6 user and needed a good reason to move to CC. I think this may be the trigger.

I am blown away at how simple it is to use. The every one of the multiple solutions available, from creating brushes to accurately picking colors from a scene would normally include many steps, taking a picture, cropping, sampling, all to get a result similar to these from Adobe Capture.

Fantastic product, seamlessly integrated from mobile device through cloud storage to the desktop - I love it!

For creating b&w vectors this app is fantastic but there is room for improvement.

When refining the image you cannot change the brush size so even when zooming in you can’t quite get the detail you would like. The crucial step it is missing however is the ability to remove the background. It would be great if you could select ALL the white and delete it. From what I can tell with all their apps there is only the smart outline/delete function which doesn’t help with creating logos for most or in my case intricate stencils with ease

I would love the ability to export a single high resolution tile of a created pattern into the camera roll. Or the ability to export a created shape without a white background.

I would even be happy to pay for these features as an in-app purchase. Unfortunately it seems adobe are just using this app to get people to pay for their subscription services, so I’m not holding my breath.

This is an essential tool for my design work. I make patterns and vector logos on the go so easily. I suck at selecting colours but the colour grabber in this app is out of this world. The best part is that I don't have to sync my searches or logos over to my workstation because it's all in the creative cloud! Just open Illustrator and there it all is, swatches, brushes, patterns etc!

If you can't afford the desktop versions of the Adobe Creative tools then these apps are an excellent way of doing your graphic design work.

As a dressmaker, I use the Adobe Capture app to create brushes that realistically depict my fabric choices and use them in the Sketch app on my clothing designs. I can also create fabric patterns and colour families.

The only things I would improve on this would be the ability to use the brushes in the Draw app.

Even so, this is still a fantastic app!
