I have to reopen the app any time I want to do more than one search. This came in with the new release. It’s really annoying!

Won’t let me activate my account
Recommended by a mate because he said it was easy to track my personal collection, unfortunately I wasn’t able to activate my account, or add anything to my Wishlist/collection. Not being able to sign in was particularly frustrating because I was not able to make a purchase without my account being up and running. Please look into this !!!

Discogs app and website are fantastic for keeping an inventory of your music collection and includes a wants list function and also has access to sellers to complete the gaps in your collection.

Cannot view reviews in the App. Why?
A useful feature of Discogs is being able to view what other users thought about particular versions of a release so we can choose the right one. I also like to leave feedback for the Discogs community about items I purchase on occasion.
This is especially important for the vinyl community.
Unfortunately you cannot view reviews in the App at all. Why? This must force so many users to leave the App and use Discogs in Safari, which seems really silly and I’m sure the developers don’t want this.
Please update and include this basic functionality.

Difficult to use to buy
I like the app but the web version is so much easier to use even on an iPhone. I’m mainly here to purchase and the filtering to get what you want is far easier to access on the web version.

Performance is patchy and generally deteriorating
Recently, using this app has meant a significant deterioration in UX - it’s less responsive, search results on artists within my collection don’t return compilation appearances, search results can no longer be filtered, and interaction between the app and the mobile website, even when logged in, is patchy.

Make an iPad version already
The app functions great but there is no iPad. The large format of an iPad would be ideal for adding titles to Discogs.

Difficult to use
If the app was as easy to use as the web version then it’d be sensational.
It’s very hard to look up albums to buy on the app. I’ve been using it for a few years and always end up having to use a computer to browse.

Such a vast array of music on Discogs!
Discogs is my first choice for searching out music.
Such a vast array of rare music from across the world to discover on the Discogs marketplace. Covering all genres and on all mediums - Vinyl, CD and Cassette.
I have been using Discogs for a few years now to source pre-loved rare House and Techno compilations and remixes on CD, which I once owned on vinyl.
Accurate descriptions provided on all items for sale across the marketplace. User friendly app, easy communication with sellers regarding pricing, shipping and ratings.

I much preferred the previous personal summary home page with the exact number of records in your collection and price averages, really much preferred it, otherwise pretty happy with it all

Is mostly good
Having the ability to search any vinyl while shopping and seeing the ones I own is pretty awesome to say the least. However being able to edit/add new albums in the app would help it drastically to say the least.

Not easy to add to collection
I would give this app 5 stars if it had one button in the main menu to add albums to my collection. I find it silly and cumbersome trolling through pages to complete what is a simple task.

Could be much better
From a sellers POV this App is only good to check messages in. The messages you send I the app don’t then turn up on the full site. Every bit of real info requires a login to the full site The login is then very clunky and crashes consistently. The biggest vinyl site in the world should have a 5/5 app.

The UI of this app is clunky and outdated, making navigation painfully awkward.
However, the website is a gift to music lovers and collectors everywhere.
You’d be better off browsing the site in your web browser.

Great app but still needs work
This app is exactly what I need while i’m not at home to check if a record im after is for sale which is awesome !! Little tweaks and fixes are needed through the app however for smoother transactions and viewing.

Perfect for vinyl collectors
I use Discogs online daily to catalogue and research my vinyl collection, as well as to buy occasionally. The app is great when shopping at record stores, the barcode scanner in particular makes the app worth it.

Love the on the go convenience, but excited for more
I love this app for adding to my collection via the scanner capabilities and for seeing what I already own when I'm traveling and digging through the world's secondhand stores. I'd love to see the option to arrange my collection chronologically by release date, within artist. The sorting currently while via Artist appears random, at first I thought it was as I added it appeared last, but going back into the app it's jumbled. Keep improvements coming

Great news! Discogs now have an app. Easy to use. adding items is straight forward. A few additional features like more filter options (genres) would be handy.

Good app for quick easy reference to your collection. Previously used the browser version on my phone but that was slow and clunky. Great tool for when you are flicking through music in stores
