As a still youngster (at least at heart) I love this app which lets me enjoy an independent music library from the regular streaming services where it can be quite difficult to find composers, performers or orchestras. Kudos IDAGIO!

Absence of gapless playback is almost a deal breaker

Great concept, I subscribe, but sometimes find myself going back to Google Play Music. Why: the gap in playback between tracks is a killer and can completely spoil the moment in transitions b/w movements. Even worse it is currently playing a note or two of the next movement, then having a gap. Great catalogue but this lack of gapless playback issue and some bugginess of the iOS app need fixing (eg having to close app and re-open to connect to next piece, having to start the album then connect to streaming device - and start again) - keep waiting for an upgrade to fix these issues but it never seems to arrive...
Weeks later: the stop-atert-stop and then start between tracks is driving me nuts. Just listening to Madame Butterfly (ipad and chrome cast audio) - please please fix this!

I got so excited after reading the reviews about Idagio. Unfortunately the sound quality is just not up to it and even choosing the highest level of quality there was still audible noise. Any radio streaming results in better quality.
If this was a free service I wouldn’t mind but not paying what they ask unless this can be resolved I’m afraid.

I love the app and the amount of music and recordings on it is absolutely amazing! However not having the ability to make your own playlists within the app is really disappointing. The addition of this feature would make it the perfect classical music listening platform.

Great app. Beautifully designed, easy to use, elegant and understated.
The range of music is great, dozens of recordings, lossless and high and low quality AAC formats. The listening difference is palpable. When you listen to MP3 versions and compare them to these it is a real pleasure.
Highly recommended.

This is probably the best classical music app I've found on the app store. Very good organisation into different composers, easy to find different recordings of a piece, good discovery system with moods.
I'm loving the UI and the clean app design, just two little quirks that could be improved:
1. The play/pause button is sometimes unresponsive both inside the app and via control centre. It must somehow be related to this app because there are no issues with apple music
2. The list of composers could do with an alphabetical bar on the right hand side, like the one in the contacts app for example. Allows to find composers more efficiently
All in all, great app for classical music, definitely beats the apple music app and with the above two points fixed, would be THE perfect app for classical music. It's free as well!!
