None of the big real estate apps allow this. Why?! Why must I be put through the same properties over and over, even after I’ve made a decision I don’t like it?! Must have feature that would set you apart from the rest.

The search does not show ‘surrounding suburbs’ which is, in itself, not a problem but when paired with the fact that you cannot enter multiple suburbs at one time is quite restrictive and time consuming to have to re-enter search terms. Have seen a response in the reviews about it that the developers are looking in to updating that function and including the ability to add multiple suburbs but that response was over a year ago and still not available.

With many real estate websites sites full of ads and distractions homely.com.au stands out as the easiest to navigate of all the real estate portals. It seems to have more of the “fresh” listings than any other site and that’s what buyers want. If agents are not on homely.com.au they are not looking after their buyers and sellers

Ive been using this app for a while and can honestly say I have had nothing but good experiences. I found the design is very user friendly. The collections feature has really come in handy when trying to find new properties to rent with my flatties, as we can share our fave properties easily amongst ourselves

The app now crashes on launch for me. I had to delete and reinstall it to get it to run again.. but even so, what happened to the beautiful edge to edge carousel photos for each listing? And the beautiful animation between going from the search screen to the property screen is now just standard.

I've provided feedback to the app support team, but the user friendliness of their search and alert functionality leaves a lot to be desired. You cannot simply search for houses in multiple suburbs through names alone and even if you draw it on a map, you cannot save that search to get alerts on it.
The alerts themselves have to be set up by individual suburb and don't allow additional filter options like land size etc.
The pictures and layout etc are nice, but I get better functionality through other sites.

Great app for searching for real estate to rent or buy in Aus. Especially good for flipping through listing photos, browsing & saving properties quickly on the train.
