The BT Panorama mobile app provides advisers and investors with easy access to their accounts via mobile.¹
Signing in to the app is fast and secure with Face ID, 4-digit passcode or fingerprint technology², or you can use your Panorama username and password.
For BT Panorama advisers:
The mobile app lets you take your business with you, with features including:
· View a summary of your total funds under administration, active accounts, net flows and fees from the business overview dashboard
· Search client accounts, and view what your clients view including total portfolio balance and performance details
· Drill down into market information for shares and managed funds in your clients’ portfolios, for a quick snapshot of the latest prices, asset performance, ESG and key information
· Buy, sell and track orders for term deposits, managed funds, managed portfolios and listed securities (where applicable)
· View your clients' cash account summaries and make payments to existing accounts on their behalf, where authorised
· View messages, service request status, updates, product news and alert notifications
· Ask Blue, BT’s virtual assistant or chat to a consultant
For BT Panorama investors:
Use the mobile app to access your account on the go, with features including:
· View your total portfolio balance and performance by investment, which can include any term deposit, listed security, managed fund and managed portfolio investments
· Drill down into market information for shares and managed funds in your portfolio for a quick snapshot of the latest prices, asset performance, ESG and key information
· Make payments, deposits and schedule transactions, and add payee and BPAY®³ accounts
· Trade all investment types and track the progress of investment orders, where authorised
· Apply filters to view transaction history and details
· View and update personal details, where authorised
· View messages, forms and requests, consent requests and alert notifications, and access the My Benefits portal
· Review and download your statements and disclosure documents

Reliable app for tracking balances, transactions and investments

I would point out though that the ‘toggle’ to include external investments in the investments valuation works fine BUT the toggle setting is not strictly saved (although the app says it is after ‘Save Settings’).
Whenever you login, although the toggle still shows ‘Include external investments’, the valuations do not include the external investments. It is necessary to disable the toggle, then reset it for every session.

Lose of features

Disappointed that the updates to both the iPad and iPhone apps have lost the ability to allow the user to compare their super performance against the ASX 200.
You used to be able to add the ASX200 graph onto the graph of your own super fund. Now you can’t.
This is disappointing when you can’t see any other improvement in the new apps anyway.

It has been over 3 weeks now I am trying to log into my account and it says technical issues try again later.
The people on the phone are absolutely not helping me and only to tell me to wait a few minutes even though this issues has been there since the beginning of 3 weeks!!
Some money keeps getting deducted from my super and I cannot look into it, this is messed up.

Does not even work

Installed this for over a month now and until now it’s saying technical difficulties and to just call the number or hotline instead. Very convenient 🙄

New version much better

The latest version is excellent. No issues at all. And down time much less.

Overall great upgrade missing comparison to asx 200

Overall a great app, but the upgrade has lost the comparison with the asx 200 which is often a comparison for managed fund performance.

Oct 21 update

The app used to be really good before Oct’21 update. The new version is terrible- the performance is wrong, viewing the investments takes more scrolling and swiping. Finally, you can no longer see the underlying positions in a managed portfolio. Really bad update, please bring back the old app.

Hiding effect of fees on performance

New app makes it harder to see the effect of performance of fees on investments. The previous toggle switch is now hidden under a ‘preferences’ button, and of course this preference has to be selected every time you log on.

I had sold my share on 29th June, the money didn’t touch my bank account til 24th September. Throughout my process of the account being closed I was still charged monthly fees when i was closing my account down. Worst investing app going and a damn right con. The customer service team is as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

Poor maintenance

Your account always on maintenance when u you need trading. 3 or 4 out 7 days on maintenance or with logging issues. Very disappointed

Offline for FIVE DAYS

This app is offline practically every weekend. This week it has been off for five consecutive days with two or three ‘updates’ daily apologising but not actually fixing it!

Given the outages in the system, time to refund us our admin fees. We are not getting what we pay for!


App has now been down for over a week, how is that acceptable for an investing app when you need to be able to access otherwise missing out on potential money. Worst app I have ever used in my life they should have to reimburse all shareholders and close down.

I am long term BT panaroma user but I have come to the end. This week the platform has been down for 5 straight days. 5 days without access. Last 12 months there has been problem after problem and they can’t fix it so stay away find something else

The amount of outages and maintenance this app has is ridiculous. Have missed out on buying stock while it was low due to the app being down multiple times now.

Always down for maintenance

This is a good app. When it works. It is down virtually every weekend for maintenance and the latest outage has lasted days. Not good enough for a major financial institution

Unavailable again!!! At least once a week the app seems to be down for maintenance sometimes for entire weekends. Now extending into Mondays. Why?? Are there that many bugs?? Very frustrating the number of times I want to access and can’t.

Unstable and frustrating

When I first got the app was very happy (2 months ago) however I have had delete and reload on a number of occasions due to the app constantly looping
However when it is available it seems to provide the info I need . My latest experience is that I cannot even reload the app from the App Store

You can do so much on this app and the real-time features are great. It is a bit clunky and can be slow at times, but the level of information available is excellent.

Nice app but not supported if things go wrong. I got a new phone, but wasn’t able to log in.
Rang Bt panorama and was told they they don’t support the app. :(

Not working

tried to access super through westpac. says to download via google play or panorama app. i click panorama then it says connection error. i tried to manually log into the panorama app and it’s stuck on “getting account information” I haven’t been able to access my acc ever since i first made it.

Love the app. Nice work.

Simple and easy to use. Full featured mobile app. I had an issue with enabling Face ID after iPhone upgrade. Got help from App Support and with app reinstall matter resolve quickly. Thanks Karen.

Needs an iPad app

BT should develop the app to take advantage of the iPad over just a replication of the iPhone app.

SMSF simple summary

Ive been considering an SMSF but no idea where to start. I’ve just worked through my first 2 lessons in 30mins and I’m already clearer. Simple summary. Thumbs up.

Great app, easy to use and navigate around my account.

Great app!

Easy to use, very efficient in keeping on top of my super and investment accounts and only need one login to toggle between both accounts.
Great market information provided and so easy so navigate through the app.
Never have had any issue with the app for over a year since I’ve set up my accounts, once a new release is done all you need to do is update your app for everyone below having issues, uninstall and reinstall is all you need to do!

Two accounts

I have two accounts and cannot switch from one to the other.

Now useless - cannot login

I have installed, uninstalled, installed,uninstalled....need to put in new login details every single time.
This is the worse update ever.
Can you please resolve the login issues so that the simple password can be used ALL THE TIME again??? Surely this can be too difficult?
