I love Marina and the Diamonds and this album is awesome! So excited ;D

You will NOT be disappointed…!

I’ve been hanging out for Marina to release a new album, as I have almost her entire back catalogue / discography. As with Electra Heart, her sound has become much more polished, yet she’s managed to retain her insightful lyrics (think “Teen Idle”).

She has such a distinctive voice… I love it. This album has instantly won my affection!

On repeat. Day and night.

A generally upbeat soundtrack. Is quirky and lyrics make some scathing commentary of human nature. Catchy beats and strong vocals. I enjoyed pretty much every song except I’m a Ruin and even that was just a comparative dislike. I think that the album is worth the purchase. Even if pop isn’t quite “your thing”, it’s worth a listen to at least.

Such deep lyrics, and such amazing melodies make for Marina's best effort yet. Honestly, every song is original and catchy. This is real pop. Happy is a future classic.

The best album I' ve listen to in a while!!

From 'The family jewels' to 'Electra heart' every single on of Marina's albums I have loved and 'FROOT' is no exception. Every album, every song, every lyric and every melody Marina is stunning!

I've loved every one of Marina's albums and this one is my favourite by far. You can truly feel the emotions surrounding these songs and the meaningfulness behind the lyrics. Definitely recommend it for all music listeners. 10/10

Her voice is so deep and choked and all the songs suck (expect for Forget.)

Marina brings her best in this album and yet again allows me to connect to the beautifully written lyrics. I'm in love.

I love Froot very much I have listened to every track on this album, and I was very sorry for the leak but I bought it and all my friends did too. Every song has a uniting theme and tune most unlike the other albums and it is very different in a great way. If you wanted to be more technical it is more a continuation and sequel to the first rather than to Electra. I hope you’ll follow my steps and congratulate Marina on a new chapter in her life :) This will not be undergone lightly, it was number two on the iTunes charts in Australia and I hope to go to her Frootalicious tour in October, or if she comes to see the aussies at a festivals. I hope she comes to Aus, because she’s only been to Australia once. I am very sad all the scented vinyls are sold out but I have a notification on the google search so i’ll know if they restock. I’m sorry this review is so long but I need to emphasise how the queen is back and better than ever <3 I have rated Froot five stars and I strongly suggest and hope that you do too.

I love it, I'm a fan of Marina and I love that she wrote every single damn song on it, well done. I love the groovy beats and disco-ish vibes and synth. I'm still deciding what is my favourite but it's fresh, it's juicy, it's FROOT! <3

I have been a massive fan of Marina and the diamonds since she released her first studio album 'The Family Jewels' which is still to this day one of my all-time favourite albums. Marina then released the more risqué 'Electra Heart' which holds a special place in my heart as it was still Marina writing and singing but with a twist. I naturally have extremely high expectations when it comes to a Marina and The Diamonds album. I really cannot describe the album ‘Froot’ as anything but perfect. The sounds, themes, and lyrics tell a story and take you on a journey to make you cry and smile simultaneously.

From stunning poignant opening songs such as ‘Happy’ ‘I’m A Ruin’ ‘Solitaire’ and ‘Immortal’ to the More upbeat songs that still have heart and soul such as ‘Blue’ ‘Forget’ ‘Froot’ and ‘Savages’

And an interesting new rock orientated direction with the spectacular tracks ‘’Better than That’ ‘Can’t Pin Me Down’ ‘Weeds’ and ‘Gold’

This album as with all Marina and The Diamonds albums is a spectacular contradiction. The lyrics and the music quite often hide some very deep and dark lyrics which we can all relate to. If you are in doubt about the album ‘Froot’ you won’t be let down.

Once again my favourite artist has produced and written a fantastic album. For once, we hear the side of the dumper not the person that has been dumped. Every song has lyrics that stick with you and you find yourself singing all the time! My favourites are Forget, Can’t pin me down, I’m a ruin and Immortal :)

FROOT is what an album should be: a collection of personal tracks written by the artist and promoted with thought (froot of the month). Each track is unique, has lyrics that mean something and memorable enough that you’ll have the catchy tunes and words stuck in your head for days. This has quickly become my favourite album! Can’t wait until the whole thing drops on the 16th!
