This album is a great starting point for anybody wanting to learn or explore New Wave music.

A decent compilation no doubt, but I'm very curious to know why there are 8 more New Order tracks than Joy Division tracks... Why not a 50-50 compilation, especially considering the superior quality in tracks of the latter? Rhino could have easily included Passover, Dead Souls, Shadow Play and Glass at the expense of New Order songs, to name just 4 random examples. There's also Heart and Soul, Twenty Four Hours, Day of the Lords, Warsaw... I could go on and on.
