The Real Deal

One of Aus's best kept secrets. An awesome sound that can be both spare and intense all at once, with great lyrics and vocals. Lots of different influences are apparent at times, but still really fresh and original. The best new sound I've heard in years.

real aussie rock- epic!

i agree with those before me, cant think of a better rock band in australia at the moment. originally heard it as a feature album on JJJ but didnt really come around til i heard the song betty months down the track
sounds like the black keys and queens of the stone age, but is a unique sound with real substance to it. all the songs are good, and the album as a whole works really well, getting better with repeat listens. some songs are better than others- pulse, lorelei, cookie, pt. 1 and betty are my picks

Gotta see them live.

Probably the best band in Australia at the moment. If you have the chance, go to one of their concerts - more energy and polish than you'll believe. Exciting stuff.

Roosty, raunchy and raw!

Somewhere between John Spencer and The Black Keys, even early You Am I, but with a sweeter voice. Great stuff!!!
