Incredibly varied listen and almost everything is excellent. BOY BYE and ST. PERCY deliver high energy instrumentals that allow each member to flex their rapping muscles (often experimenting with new deliveries to great success). Then there are more 90’s R&B influences tracks like SUGAR and NO HALO with some incredible harmonies soaring over beautiful instrumentals. Each member gets quite personal here and tracks like BIG BOY have an industrial, apocalyptic feel to them. Every track delivers and keeps listeners on their feet; BROCKHAMPTON don’t stay in the same place musically for long.
