A country boy who can join forces with R&B, metal and more

The world first met future country hitmaker Morgan Wallen as a contestant on The Voice in 2014, but the only country tune he sang in his time on the show was by Florida Georgia Line. As it happens, when he kicked off his recording career a couple years later, his first big hit, the hook-heavy, good-time tune "Up Down", found him teaming with—you guessed it—FGL themselves. Some of his other collaborations—like the country-goes-heavy “Turn You Down” featuring metal guitar hero Zakk Wylde and the R&B bump of "Heartless" with Diplo—reveal the eclecticism we first glimpsed in his Voice days.
